The sign inside the door reads 11·07·2006, and it has her name on it. Lily works with Rosa, and clients who write reviews tend to name both of them. Most of what they describe is the same: someone looked at their hair, explained what it needed and why, and then did that.
The work leans toward textured and curly hair. Dominican blowouts, cuts that keep length, hydration treatments and keratin for the ones who want it, plus color, balayage and gray blending. Kids are welcome.
Suite 101 is a small private space with coffee, a living wall along the mirrors, and music playing. Bookings went up this year, so the salon asks that you reserve ahead. Walk-ins still get a chair when one is open.

If you have textured hair, have been traumatized by salon experiences, and are feeling hopeless, pleaseeeee book now. I have neglected my hair for so long, yet somehow they worked MAGIC. After Lily and Rosa took care of me, my 4b, coarse, dry, naturally curly hair is silky and shiny and has so much movement. My roots have never been so smooth. They helped me keep so much more length than I was expecting. ZERO chemicals were used to achieve this result. Just a phenomenal cut, hydrating treatment, wash, and style.
This is my new fav salon! Rosa did my hair, she is amazing! Best blow dry I've ever gotten, customer service was a 10/10. I got a blow dry, hydration treatment, and trim. She explained everything she was doing and how to take care of my hair.
I'm from New York and have been to many Dominican salons, and Lily's is honestly one of the best I've ever been to. Lily is the absolute sweetest and did an amazing job on my hair. My hair is super curly and frizzy, and she made it smooth and sleek.
Recently moved to Texas and struggled to find a Dominican hair stylist. This place is amazing, peaceful, great service, consults help you understand what you are paying for and why your hair needs it! If I can give more than 5 stars I would!
